Other collaborations have been with visiting artists like Grammy Nominee Pandit Subhen Chatterjee, local artists like Dr. Kanniks Kannikeswaran, and college faculty like Dr. Stephan Fiol to bring diverse artists to Greater Cincinnati.
Indian Rhythms was created in 2014 as an enrichment program to raise awareness of Indian arts across different demographics.
Indian Rhythms is structured to challenge and break down stereotypes and cultural expectations through cross-pollination of creativity and expression.
We collaborate with Breakthrough Cincinnati (BTC) on their six-week summer enrichment program to bring the study of traditional Indian dance into BTC’s existing summer curriculum. 2024 saw a collaboration with BTC, ROMAC and NSPA to bring the first Art Career fair to this summer program.
